
FC Augsburg holds TSG Hoffenheim to a Stalemate
TSG Hoffenheim faced a challenge when they visited FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga, and the encounter lived up to expectations, concluding in a 2-2 draw.
FC Augsburg started the match best and took the lead when Alexis Claude-Maurice netted after 11 minutes, with an assist by Robin Fellhauer, making it 1-0.
Just three minutes later later Michael Gregoritsch increased the lead for FC Augsburg with an assist by Jeffrey Gouweleeuw.
FC Augsburg's next Bundesliga games are against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (away) on 18 April, FC Augsburg (home) on 25 April and Werder Bremen (away) on 2 May. TSG Hoffenheim play Borussia Dortmund (home) on 18 April, Hamburger SV (away) on 25 April and VfB Stuttgart (home) on 2 May.
TSG Hoffenheim's Robin Hranac made it 2-1 in the 35th minute as he found the net, with an assist by Vladimír Coufal.
TSG Hoffenheim equalised 2-2 just before the half-time whistle as Bazoumana Touré scored, with an assist by Fisnik Asllani. The second half was goalless and the match ended 2-2.
The result means the fifth game in a row without a win for FC Augsburg.
FC Augsburg are now in 10th place, while TSG Hoffenheim are in fifth place.
