Athletic Club Blanks Leganés in Victory

Athletic Club showcased their attacking prowess as they netted two goals in the La Liga encounter against Leganés at Estadio Municipal de Butarque. The away side cruised to a convincing 2-0 victory, leaving Leganés unable to find the back of the net.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 65th minute before Daniel Vivian netted, with an assist by Gorka Guruzeta, to give Athletic Club the lead.

Iñaki Williams increased the lead in the 75th minute with an assist by Andoni Gorosabel.

The next La Liga games for Leganés are Getafe (away) on 22 September, Rayo Vallecano (away) on 28 September and Valencia (home) on 4 October. Athletic Club play Celta de Vigo (home) on 22 September, Sevilla (home) on 29 September and Girona (away) on 6 October.
