Monaco emerged victorious in the game on Thursday at Stade Louis II. against FC Barcelona. The Champions League game finished 2-1.

FC Barcelona were left with a man down early on, when Eric García was sent off in the 10th minute.

Monaco started the match best and took the lead when Maghnes Akliouche netted after 16 minutes, with an assist by Vanderson, making it 1-0.

FC Barcelona equalised to make it 1-1 after almost half an hour's play as Lamine Yamal found the net, with an assist by Marc Casadó.

It took until the 71st minute before George Ilenikhena scored the decider with an assist by Vanderson.
